Original brick molds have been used in construction in India for generations. Clay is poured into the molds, then the brick is shaken out, dried in the sun, and finally fired in a kiln. Each small workshop had its own stamp on the mold to indicate where the brick came from. You can still see traces of these stamps on the bottom of original molds – a small but beautiful sign of their history.
