We primarily work with lifestyle stores, garden centres with interior departments and farm shops across Denmark and Europe. We also supply hotels, cafés, restaurants, stylists and other professional interior clients.
We value flexible and professional partnerships and are always happy to assist with product selection, ordering and delivery.
All communication regarding orders, invoices and delivery is sent by email.
B2B TERMS & CONDITIONS
Orders placed via the Sjælsø Living B2B webshop or directly with Sjælsø Living are binding on the customer once the order has been completed and the customer has received an order confirmation.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that all company, billing and delivery information provided is correct.
If the customer wishes to make changes to an order, Sjælsø Living must be contacted as soon as possible. Changes can only be made if the order has not yet been prepared for dispatch or shipped, and if the requested changes can reasonably be accommodated.
Sjælsø Living reserves the right to cancel an order in the event of products being out of stock, obvious pricing or product errors, or other circumstances that make it impossible to fulfil the order as confirmed. The customer will be informed as soon as possible if this occurs.
All B2B prices are exclusive of VAT and shipping, unless otherwise stated.
The first order may require prepayment.
Standard payment terms are 15 days net from the invoice date for Danish customers and 30 days net for international customers, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Special-order items and custom-made products require prepayment, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
In the event of late payment, interest will be charged in accordance with applicable legislation.
Products remain the property of Sjælsø Living until payment has been received in full.
As a standard service, Sjælsø Living arranges transport of the order. If the customer wishes to collect the goods or arrange transport independently, this must be stated when placing the order.
For collection from our warehouse, collection must be arranged in advance. An administration fee of DKK 100 excl. VAT applies.
When Sjælsø Living arranges transport, this is provided as a service to the customer and is subject to the applicable shipping terms. Shipping costs are invoiced to the customer unless the order qualifies for Sjælsø Living’s current free shipping or shipping support scheme.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, delivery is FCA TMC Lager, Vintapperbuen 29, 4070 Kirke Hyllinge, Denmark (Incoterms® 2020). Risk passes to the customer when the goods are handed over to the carrier. This also applies when transport has been arranged by Sjælsø Living.
In the event of transport damage or loss, Sjælsø Living will assist the customer in communicating with the carrier and handling any potential compensation claim.
In-stock items are normally dispatched within 1–3 business days. During busy periods, dispatch may take up to 8 business days. Subsequent delivery time depends on the destination and method of transport.
For deliveries to countries outside the EU, customs duties, import VAT and local charges are the responsibility of the customer, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
In Denmark, Sjælsø Living offers free shipping on product orders over DKK 3,500 excl. VAT. Free shipping does not apply to discounted items or special deliveries.
For Sweden and Norway, Sjælsø Living provides 50% shipping support on product orders over SEK 6,000 and NOK 6,000 respectively. For Germany, 50% shipping support applies to product orders over EUR 600.
Additional charges may apply for non-bridge-connected islands, additional delivery attempts and other special delivery requirements. These costs may be invoiced to the customer. The customer is responsible for ensuring that delivery can be received at the agreed address.
RETURNABLE PALLETS – DENMARK
For deliveries on returnable pallets within Denmark, the customer must ensure that an equivalent number of suitable returnable pallets are ready for the driver at the time of delivery.
If returnable pallets are not available at the time of delivery, Sjælsø Living reserves the right to invoice the missing pallets at up to DKK 100 excl. VAT per pallet.
This arrangement applies only to deliveries within Denmark. For international deliveries, disposable pallets are generally used.
An environmental surcharge of 1% is applied to the invoice amount for sales within Denmark.
In the event of visible transport damage, the carrier must be notified immediately and, wherever possible, the damage must be noted on the consignment note or other delivery documentation. The customer must also contact Sjælsø Living as soon as possible.
Sjælsø Living works with original finds, recycled materials and recrafted objects.
Many of our products are handmade, crafted from reclaimed materials or are original finds. Variations in size, colour, texture, finish, patina and overall appearance are therefore a natural part of each product’s character and authenticity.
Products with the same item number may not be identical. Images shown on our webshop, in catalogues and other sales materials should therefore be considered indicative, unless specifically stated that the image shows the exact, unique item being offered.
Small cracks, uneven surfaces, old repairs, signs of previous use and natural variations in wood and metal are generally not considered defects or faults, but rather part of the product’s history, character and individual expression.
Wood is a natural material and may change over time due to temperature, humidity and other environmental conditions. Products made from iron and other metals may similarly develop rust, patina and other natural changes over time.
Unless specifically stated otherwise on the product, our products are intended primarily for indoor use and are not designed for permanent outdoor use.
RETURNS
If, after receiving an item, the customer does not wish to keep it – for example, because natural variations in colour, patina, texture or appearance differ from the customer’s expectations – the item may be returned by agreement with Sjælsø Living within 14 days of receipt.
The item must be returned unused, undamaged, in saleable condition and in its original packaging.
The customer is responsible for arranging and paying for return transport and bears the risk of the goods during return transport. All returns must be agreed with Sjælsø Living before the goods are sent back.
The right to return does not apply to custom-made products, special orders or products manufactured or sourced specifically for the customer.
The customer must inspect the goods upon receipt.
Visible transport damage, incorrect deliveries, missing items or other visible defects must be reported to Sjælsø Living as soon as possible and no later than 8 days after receipt.
In the event of visible transport damage, the carrier must be notified immediately and, wherever possible, the damage must be noted on the consignment note or other delivery documentation at the time of receipt.
Claims must be submitted in writing to info@sjaelsoeliving.com and include the order or invoice number, a description of the issue and relevant photographic documentation.
Hidden defects or faults that could not reasonably have been identified upon receipt must be reported to Sjælsø Living as soon as possible after the customer becomes, or reasonably should have become, aware of the issue.
Goods must not be returned without prior agreement with Sjælsø Living. If a claim is accepted, the appropriate solution – including any return, replacement, repair or other remedy – will be agreed with Sjælsø Living.
We recommend keeping the original packaging until the goods have been inspected, as the packaging may be required in the event of a return.
For products made from old or recycled materials, as well as original finds and recrafted objects, the natural variations and characteristics described under Products & Variations are not considered defects or faults.
Sjælsø Living shall not be liable for any indirect loss, loss of business, loss of profit or other consequential loss, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.
Sjælsø Living shall not be liable for damage resulting from improper use, storage or maintenance, or from the natural materials and characteristics of the products as described under Products & Variations.
Product liability is governed by the general rules of Danish law.
The business relationship is governed by Danish law. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Danish courts, with Sjælsø Living’s registered place of business as the agreed venue, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.
We process company and contact information necessary to manage the customer relationship and to handle orders, invoicing, payments and delivery.
Personal data may be shared with relevant business partners and data processors where necessary to fulfil orders and manage the customer relationship.
