Sjælsø Living

The following terms and conditions apply to all purchases of products from Sjælsø Living. It is the customer’s responsibility to stay updated on the applicable terms.

All communication (order confirmations, invoices, etc.) is sent by email.

Purchase of Products

A purchase becomes binding when you receive an order confirmation. Please check it carefully for any errors.

It is essential that you inform us at the time of ordering (or no later than the day before dispatch) if there are dates on which you cannot receive goods, if you have special opening hours, or if you have any other delivery requirements.

Please note that the order confirmation is exclusive of shipping costs. Final shipping costs are calculated at the time of dispatch. Contact us for freight rates.

Payment

The first order may require prepayment.

Standard terms: 14 days net from invoice date.

Payment terms must be respected. Interest will be charged after the due date.

Special/custom products require prepayment.

Goods remain the property of Sjælsø Living until fully paid.

Delivery

Goods are shipped from our warehouse in Kirke Hyllinge (AB factory / EXW).

Delivery time for stocked items is up to 8 business days for international markets, but typically 3–4 days within Denmark, Sweden and Germany.

The recipient must ensure access to the delivery address. Failed delivery may result in additional freight charges.

For international deliveries, customs and duties are handled by the buyer unless otherwise agreed.

We do not deliver to private addresses unless otherwise agreed.

If your delivery requires an extra trip, the additional cost will be invoiced to you.

Please monitor your shipment and track it using the tracking number sent by email (also available via your webshop account).

Freight charges for parcels and pallets are calculated according to current tariffs. Contact us for freight rates.

If goods are damaged upon arrival, the freight carrier must be notified immediately, and the damage must be noted on the delivery documents.

Product Information

We offer three types of products:

Original: Old, unique items.

Recycled: Made from reclaimed materials such as wood or metal.

Upcycled: Old items given a new purpose.

Please note that products with the same item number may vary, as many are unique pieces. Variations in color, size, and appearance are to be expected. This means the product delivered may differ from what was shown on our webshop or at a trade fair. Sjælsø Living cannot guarantee identical appearance.

Regarding wooden products: wood is a natural, living material that changes over time and may develop small cracks. Products containing iron may rust.

Our products are generally not designed for outdoor use.

Webshops & Drop-Shipping

Separate terms apply to webshops that use drop-shipping. These can be requested from Sjælsø Living.

Claims & Complaints

Products delivered by Sjælsø Living must be considered unique items. Therefore, complaints solely based on variations between the viewed product and the delivered product cannot be accepted.

Please keep the original packaging, as items subject to claims or damage must be returned in their original packaging.

For incorrect deliveries or damaged goods, Sjælsø Living must be contacted as soon as possible and no later than 8 days after receipt.

Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for indirect losses or damages caused by improper use or storage.

Product liability follows applicable law.

Danish law applies. Any disputes shall be settled by the Copenhagen City Court.

Data Protection

We collect and store necessary company and contact information to process orders.
Information is only shared with freight partners.
