Delivery
Most orders are delivered within 1–2 business days.
Special deliveries may have a slightly longer delivery time. This will always be stated on the product page, and we will contact you after you place your order to arrange the delivery.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email with a tracking number so you can follow the delivery.
We offer three different delivery options depending on the item.
GLS Parcel Shop
DKK 49. Free for purchases over DKK 499.
Suitable for smaller furniture and home accessories.
You get:
- Delivery to your chosen GLS Parcel Shop
- Delivery within 1–2 business days
- Tracking for the entire shipment
- SMS or email when the parcel is ready
- You choose your own pick-up time
Home Delivery
DKK 89. (daytime)
DKK 99. (🌙 evening delivery)
Free for purchases over DKK 499.
Our most popular delivery for furniture.
You get:
- Delivery directly to your address
- Delivery right to your home – even if you live in an apartment
- Option for evening delivery
- Live tracking
- Delivery window of approx. 1 hour
- Option to send instructions directly to the driver
You will automatically receive notifications:
- when the order is registered
- when delivery is planned
- when the driver is on the way
- when delivery is completed
Good to know
- The driver usually does not call before delivery.
If challenges arise, the driver will contact you by phone.
Special Delivery
Free for purchases over DKK 499.
Some of our largest or most fragile furniture requires special transport.
If an item is delivered with Special Delivery, it will be clearly indicated on the product page.
After your order, we will contact you personally to arrange the best and safest delivery.
With GLS Parcel Shop, you pick up the parcel yourself when it suits you.
For Home Delivery, we recommend that you are home at the time of delivery. If you have authorised Flex Delivery, the parcel can be placed in the agreed location.
For Special Delivery, we will arrange delivery directly with you.
You will receive tracking information via email and/or SMS as soon as your order has been dispatched.
For home deliveries, you can track the driver live and send messages directly to the driver until delivery.
You will continuously receive SMS messages and emails with updates on your delivery status.
For home delivery, you will receive a delivery window of approximately one hour.
The driver typically does not call before delivery but will contact you by phone if any issues arise during delivery.
If you are not home, the carrier may choose to leave the item if it is deemed safe to do so.
If the item cannot be delivered safely, the carrier will take it back. In some cases, there may be costs associated with a new delivery.
It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the delivery address is accessible to the carrier.
This includes:
- that there is access for a truck
- that the road is not too narrow
- that the address is accessible at the time of delivery
If delivery cannot be completed, a charge for re-delivery may be applied.
We always recommend that you check the item upon receipt.
If the packaging or the item is damaged during transport, please contact us as soon as possible - preferably within 24 hours.
Please send pictures of:
- the packaging
- the damage
- the entire item
This will help us to quickly process the case with the shipping company.
Unfortunately, we do not offer pick-up.
Our warehouse is operated by an external logistics partner who packs and dispatches all orders directly from the warehouse. This allows us to ensure fast and secure delivery.
Returns & Cancellations
You have a 14-day right of withdrawal when you shop with us.
The deadline applies from the day you – or a person on your behalf – receive the item.
If you wish to cancel your purchase, please send an email to info@sjaelsoeliving.com no later than 14 days after receipt.
Remember to state your order number in the email.
Returns must be made no later than 14 days after you have notified us that you wish to cancel the purchase.
Returns must always be agreed with us in advance by email.
Once we have received your request, we will send you information about the return process.
Unfortunately, we do not offer personal drop-offs at the warehouse, as our warehouse is operated by an external logistics partner.
Yes, you can order a return label through us. We will send you a return label by email.
The price is DKK 69, which will be deducted from your refund.
You are also welcome to send the package back yourself. Just remember to clearly state the order number on the return.
When returning an item, you are responsible for the return shipping costs.
Please note that shipping costs from the original delivery are not refunded when cancelling the purchase.
For returns of furniture or larger items, the customer is responsible for return shipping and booking transport.

We always recommend that you save the tracking number
The item must be returned in the same condition as it was received.
You are welcome to examine the item, but not to use it in a way that reduces its value.
Yes, the item must be returned in its original packaging.
Missing or damaged packaging may result in a depreciation of the item's value.
Refund
Once we have received and approved the return, we will refund the price of the item.
The refund will be issued to the same payment method used for the purchase.
We strive to respond to complaints as quickly as possible, usually within 1–2 business days.
Complaint
Yes, you have a 2-year right to claim for defects according to the Danish Sale of Goods Act.
The claim covers faults or defects in the product.
The right to claim does not cover:
- normal wear and tear
- damage caused by improper use
- lack of maintenance
