Original products, materials and craftsmanship
Variations in structure, patina, and finish are part of the products' authentic expression.
Many of our products are original finds or made from old materials with natural patinas and variations.
Traces of time, structure, minor repairs, and irregularities are part of the products' authentic expression and history — not faults or grounds for complaint.
We therefore always recommend reading the product description carefully and contacting us with any questions before purchasing.

When you place an order with Sjælsø Living, you will receive an order confirmation by e-mail.
Payment will not be debited until the item is dispatched, unless otherwise agreed.
You can pay with:

We offer various delivery options depending on the product and delivery address.
We typically dispatch your order within 1–3 business days, unless otherwise stated on the product.
Once the order is dispatched, you will receive an email with a tracking number so you can follow the delivery.
We offer three different delivery methods depending on the item.
GLS Parcel Shop
DKK 49. Free for purchases over DKK 499.
Suitable for smaller furniture and home accessories.
You get:
- Delivery to the GLS Parcel Shop of your choice
- Delivery within 1–2 business days
- Full tracking of the shipment
- SMS or e-mail when the package is ready
- You choose your own pick-up time
Home Delivery
DKK 89. (daytime)
DKK 99. (🌙 evening delivery)
Free for purchases over DKK 499.
Our most popular delivery for furniture.
You get:
- Delivery directly to your address
- Delivery right to your home – even if you live in an apartment
- Option for evening delivery
- Live tracking
- Delivery window of approx. 1 hour
- Option to send instructions directly to the driver
You will automatically receive notifications:
- when the order is registered
- when delivery is planned
- when the driver is on the way
- when delivery is completed
Good to know
- The driver usually does not call before delivery.
- If challenges arise, the driver will contact you by phone.
Special Delivery
Free for purchases over DKK 499.
Some of our largest or most fragile furniture requires special transport.
If an item is delivered with Special Delivery, it will be clearly indicated on the product page.
After your order, we will contact you personally to arrange the best and safest delivery.
You have a 14-day return policy from the date of receipt of the item for online purchases.
Returns must be agreed upon with us before the item is sent back.
You must notify us that you wish to cancel your purchase by sending an email to info@sjaelsoeliving.com. Please provide the order number.

You can either:
- order a return label through us (DKK 69 will be deducted from the refund)
- send the package back yourself to the return address. The order number must be clearly visible.
- for returns of furniture or larger items, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
The customer pays for the return shipping when an order is cancelled, unless otherwise agreed.
You have a 24-month right to make a complaint under the Danish Sale of Goods Act.
The right to make a complaint covers defects and deficiencies that were present at the time of delivery.
Many of our products are handmade, original, or made from old materials.
Variations in wood, color, structure, patina, unevenness, and small traces of previous use are part of the products' authentic expression and are not considered defects.
Any transport damage must be reported as soon as possible, preferably within 24 hours of receipt.
Please attach photos of both the packaging and the damage.
