Frequently asked questions about delivery

When will my order be shipped?

Most orders are shipped from our warehouse within 1–3 business days, unless otherwise stated on the product.

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking number so you can follow the delivery.


Can my order be delivered in multiple packages?

Yes, if you have ordered multiple items, your order may in some cases be sent in multiple packages. In that case, you will receive separate tracking numbers.


How are furniture delivered?

Furniture and larger items are delivered by freight carrier.

Delivery is generally to the curb or entrance. This means the freight carrier delivers the item to the address's entrance – not necessarily into the residence.


What if I'm not home for delivery?

If you are not home, the freight carrier may choose to leave the item if it is deemed safe.

If the item cannot be left securely, it will be returned, and a redelivery fee may be charged.


Can I change the delivery address after ordering?

Please contact us as soon as possible at info@sjaelsoeliving.com if you wish to change the delivery address. If the order has not yet been shipped, we will do our best to help.


What do I do if my item is damaged during transit?

Contact us as soon as possible – preferably within 24 hours of receipt.

Please send photos of:

  • the packaging
  • the damage
  • the entire item

This will allow us to help you quickly.


Why do some items come in original packaging?

Many of our products are manufactured and packaged in India. To avoid unnecessary resource consumption, we therefore often send the item in its original production packaging, instead of repacking it in new packaging.


Do you deliver to islands without bridge connections?

Yes, but for the delivery of larger items or furniture, an additional shipping fee may apply. If this is relevant for your order, we will contact you after you place the order.

"Can I pick up my order myself?"

Unfortunately, we do not offer warehouse pickup, as our warehouse is operated by an external logistics center.
